Né à Naples, sous le nom de Fulvio Russo. Culture humaniste. Au cours des années 70, il effectue la première “polarisation artistique d’un transistor”. Au début des années 80 à Forlì, il termine le livre “Il laboratorio alchemico di Eltore Elica”, où il décrit la vie d’un atelier hypothétique pour construire des créatures vivantes. Il décide de ne pas publier le livre, mais de le matérialiser. Il prend le nom d’Eltore Elica. Il ouvre un véritable atelier alchimique, et après quelques années, avec l’aide de deux assistants, il construit 588 créatures vivantes en bois et or pur, poudre de corail et circuits intégrés. Des machines qui parlent, respirent, et bougent d’après un caprice incompréhensible. Des machines alchimiques qui distinguent les adultes des enfants et ne parlent qu’avec ces derniers. Des machines pour voir l’infini ou seulement pour prévoir la floraison des fleurs des champs. Le reve devient réalité. Eltore Elica a matérialisé son livre, mais il n’en est qu’au premier chapitre.

ELTORE ELICA Nasce a Napoli con il nome di Fulvio Russo. Di cultura umanistica, negli anni ‘70 effettua la prima “Polarizzazione artistica di un transistor”. Nei primi anni ‘80, a Forlì, termina il libro “Il laboratorio alchemico di Eltore Elica” dove si descrive la vita di un ipotetico laboratorio per la costruzione di creature viventi. Decide di non pubblicare il libro ma di tradurlo in realtà. Assume il nome di Eltore Elica, apre un vero laboratorio alchemico e in pochi anni, con l’aiuto di due assistenti, costruisce 588 creature viventi. Creature in legno e oro zecchino, polvere di corallo e circuiti integrati. Macchine che parlano, respirano e si muovono secondo un loro incomprensibile capriccio. Macchine Alchemiche che distinguono gli adulti dai bambini e conversano solo con questi ultimi, macchine per vedere l’infinito o solo per prevedere la fioritura di fiori di campo. Il sogno è realtà.
